Adventure Awaits: A Mother-Son Cruise to Mexico

This carnival cruise to Mexico was an unforgettable experience for me. It was three years before I had a ruptured brain aneurysm, and it serves as a constant reminder to cherish and savor every day. Every day was filled with laughter, relaxation, and pure enjoyment. Looking back, I am grateful for this cruise as it holds a special place in my heart and serves as a reminder to always make the most of life and create meaningful memories.

I had the opportunity to go on a cruise with my 12 year old son. It was a trip that was gifted to me by the company I worked for, along with another sales agent. The destination was Mexico and the cruise line was Carnival. At first, I was a bit hesitant about taking my son on a cruise, but after doing some research, I realized that it would be an amazing experience for the both of us.

One of the main reasons why I felt going on a cruise with my son was a great choice was because of the youth program offered by Carnival. As a working parent, I was worried about leaving my son alone while I attended meetings with the company. However, with the youth program, my son would have something fun and engaging to do while I was busy. And the best part was that he could choose to join the program or spend time with me, depending on his mood. This gave me peace of mind and allowed my son to have some independence while still being close to me.

During our time on the cruise, my son had a blast participating in the various activities and events organized by the youth program. From scavenger hunts to arts and crafts, he was constantly entertained and made new friends from all over the world. And while he was having fun, I was able to attend meetings and network with other sales agents. It was a win-win situation for both of us.

But even when we weren't part of the youth program, my son and I still had a great time together. The cruise ship had so many amenities and activities for families to enjoy. We could go swimming in the pool, watch movies on the deck, play mini golf, and even go to the onboard waterpark. And since all meals were included, we didn't have to worry about finding food or spending extra money. The waiters on the ship were also very friendly and accommodating towards children, making sure my son had everything he needed.

The destination of our cruise was also something to look forward to. We sailed along the Pacific side of Mexico, making stops at Ensenada and Catalina Island. It was my son's first time in Mexico and he was amazed by the beautiful scenery and culture. We went on excursions, tried new foods, and even learned some Spanish phrases together. It was a great bonding experience for us and we made memories that I will never forget.

In the end, I couldn't have asked for a better vacation with my son. The cruise provided a perfect balance of fun, relaxation, and quality time together. It was a great opportunity for my son to experience new things and for us to create unforgettable moments as a family. And now, I can confidently say that going on a cruise with my 12 year old son was definitely the best choice for us.
